Last 3 days, I had been receiving things. 2 items and 1 letter.
On wed, I received Li Leng's belated birthday present, handphone cover and 2 hp accessories with cute hand sewed cats. It's those Frederick Casey momo cats. There was also a calender that caught my eye. This calender has individual numbers from 1 to 30 on button size stick ons that are valcroed to the board. Every month, you have to adjust the dates according to the days. And you can mark in red for important days. Such simple invention doesn't come cheap at $49.90. Its actually quite cool to have a reusable calender that can use pass through any millenium bug. Haha...silence...didn't get it har? Ok, nevermind.
Then thurs, I went to the PC Show in Expo and received a wonderful gift. Before I went to the show, I visited JH at the Motherhood fair next door. She was helping her uncle selling baby toys and clothes. I waited for her as i thought she could visit the PC show with me for awhile. Then came this guy from Prudential explaining to me about savings plan...blah blah...abit sianz listening to him. I was reluctant to give my hp number and JH came to save me. After that, I quickly went off to the PC show. I went enquiring about the laptops and asking some questions like the weight, warranty and features. There was this guy from Toshiba who approached me and say how great Toshiba laptops were and how he used for 4 years during his school days. He went on and on and didn't say much about the specifications of the laptop! Wah..this guy full of bull shitting. Yawnz...sleepy listening to him. I know Toshiba laptops are well known, don't have to tell me. Spare me the details plz! After 1 hour later, I managed to gather up all the brochures and leaflets from the various brands of laptops. The last booth was the Panasonic booth I went. Ii have a soft spot for the Panasonic FX7 digicam. When it was first released about 6 months ago, I loved it alot because of its huge lcd screen and the sleekness of the camera. I grew excited that my dream product was selling at 699 with extra goodies like a camera cover, extra battery,256mb SD card and a dry box! I quickly smsed my dad about this offer and told me its a good catch and he came down all the way from jurong to meet me up at the expo to purchase this. It was quite surprising that my dad bought it without much consideration. From my understanding his friend bought this camera too few months back and commented that it was good. Another factor was that my dad sort of owed me a birthday gift and my dad is unlike my mom who can't resist such an incredible offer too. With my dad so generous with his offer, I decided to pay half of the camera.
On friday, I finally received a long waited letter from NTU. While I was struggling to open the letter, my heart was beating faster than i can actually anticipated. And.....its a rejection letter. Funny thing was i didn't feel any disappointment or anything. Maybe because my heart's somewhere else le ba. I already did my "homework" and my mom would just have to accept the fact now. I can
now ¦W¥¿¨¥? to go Australia.........
