Today, went out with April today. First attended a youth general meeting in Pasir Panjang held by SSA. It was an eye opener to another religion. After the performance, we headed for Clarke Quey Flee Market. 1 of my fav places. I love to walk around looking at the things people sell and sometimes very exotic and different. At times out of ordinary and u might found yourself attracted to what they sell. April and myself happen to walk pass a stall selling necklaces in the shape of a whale. The material is made up of a skin of a fruit which I couldn't remember and an acceptable price of 2 dollars. The man did these out of a hobby. :) Walking pass another 10 stalls, both of us stop to look at a handphone accessory with feathers and beads. There were three designs and we both share the same liking of the very first design on the left and immediately bought them. ^.^心有灵系....We slowly stroll to the Cannery at the second floor. This is one of my favourite level as one of the shops above sells my favourite cute mini plastic Japanese food in little boxes. U will not know whats inside till u open and have a surprise! I bought my first box 2 months ago and got myself a curry set with a plate of curry rice with a small tumbler, spoon, and glass of water as what u see in jap dramas. Other delicacies are available in this series, like ramen together with goyoza which I like very much, western set, omelette set and etc. Today I bought another food set and unluckily got something which I dunno what it is. But I like the steamboat set, plus other food sets in the series. The other box is sushi series and I got a pretty set of 2 鳗鱼寿司, a plate with nice decor, chopsticks and cup of sauce. They look so pretty and just feel happy looking at them. U must have thought I am crazy but just couldn't help it. Cute stuff are a gal's best friend. Wah, they sell a carton of 10 boxes featuring cakes and food costing $63, look at them and feel very tempted. Next stop, we went to the basement japanese supermarket, just love shopping in there. I can always find different sweets and chocolates not available in NTUC. I always buy and enjoy trying them. Especially love the ramen and udon cup noodles that can go up to as high 3 to 4 dollars. They are much more delicious then the local cup noodles with exception of Nissin brand..heh..April happen to find christmas chocolates in shape of santa claus that are well suited for hampers her mother needs. A trip back to her mom's shop, an unexpected surprise awaits me. Her mum kindly gave me a bear holding white flowers which are cleverly wrapped in paper by herself. This can fetch up to 20 ++ when Valentine's Day comes a knocking.
