Today's SJ's 21st birthday!!! Happy Birthday Gal!! You are as old as me now...muahaha...After 3 hours of k box, we went to a bar at Circular Quay called Minus 5 Degrees. As the name suggests, before we go into Australia's first ice lounge, we had to put on jackets and gloves and given a brief introduction. When we are inside the sub zero environment, a professional photographer took some photos for us. For A$30, we were able to mingle in the bar for 30 minutes with a vodka based cocktail. Only vodka is served as other liquers can't be kept at such low temperatures. The accompanied cocktail was served in a unique glass made from ice plus its one of the best tasting cocktails since I came here. Everything is made of ice, the walls, the bar, the sculptures and the seats . We managed to pose right next to a sculpture shaped like a naked man as well...lolz....However, we ended our tour early as we start to feel numbing sensations in our hands and noses. We bought printed photos to commmerate our visit to the bar as well!

Forbidden City: Portrait of An Empress is coming back again......but I can't watched...zzz...this was my favourite musical that I would always want to replay the scenes in mind....I can't forget the excellent portraying of the feelings and emotions of the character Kit Chan is playing. Her singing is so soulful.......unless I win big in this saturday's 22 million Lotto, I wouldn't be able to watch this.

My second semester is packed with many activites. Ive continued Kendo from my previous semester and going to put on the kendo armour. That's when the whole excitement starts! Really look forward to it!! (Even though training will be tiring.) I've joined fencing beginner classes as well. Even since I've watched the James Bond movie, I told myself that 1 day I must learn how to fence. So my chance has came! Next is salsa classes which JH had convinced me to join. At first I was apprehensive but now I've begin to enjoy them even though I was annoyed by some guys behaviours. Dancing isn't that difficult after all!!
Yesterday, was my first time trying out contact lenses at my uni's optometrist. It was strange having to put something onto the cornea and instant vision without having to wear spectacles. Somehow I feel very exposed without my glasses......During the 4h trial with lenses, much to my amazement the lenses were pretty comfortable. So I got myself 3 months of supply of biweekly disposable contact lenses. If it were not for kendo, my eyes are probably be hidden behind glasses......
