My cousin's wedding solemnization was held in Little Bali near Alexandra Road on April 4 2005. This place is actually a bar surrounded with a nice nature environment with lots of florals. It’s a casual setting where guests just have to dress to the “Nature” theme. Before we entered, we were invited to write down our blessings on a book and each given a fan. “Such understanding for us,” I thought. We waited for at least 30 minutes before the wedding couple strolled into an awaiting table at the centre where the Justice of Peace was seated. I continuosly snapped photos of these wedding couple who can’t seem to stop smiling and basking in bliss. We can’t help feeling happy for them. However, I somehow couldn’t believe my cousin would settle down so quickly. Anyway, married at 26 just don’t seem to fit into my life calendar as yet. After ending the solemnization, the newly weds went into the air-conditioned area to serve tea to the immediate family members and left the others to enjoy a complimentary lunch. The whole affair wasn’t as grand and fanciful of the trademark wedding dinners serving shark fins in tow. It’s just a simple ceremony that breaks all clichés, thus lowering all the unnecessary costs. I kind of like the simplicity of the wedding and the tasteful way of holding this ceremony.

Just 30 minutes ago, was my turning point in my life. A major turning point in life. Everyone might start thinking funny thoughts like having a boyfriend or horrors being pregnant..Nah..its not that major but still major in a woman's life. Turning 20 lah...haha...its no longer a 1 in the first figure of a 2 digit age number. Actually come to think about its not that different from 19 to 20. This birthday come and go in a flash like whirl wind marathon race. Dinner was a sumptous dinner at Alexandra Village with delicacies like oyster with egg with its tangy hot and sour chilli sauce, rojak, stingray, omelette, kangkong and fried rice. How this day come and go......i'll further narrate accounts from my cousin's wedding, chilling and Shanghai trip another time.

I was mesmorized by the tvb drama Eternal Happiness 2 years ago especially michelle's character who is the pride of all women. Lai Kuan possessed both skills and knowledge like drawing, playing the zither, able to diagnose illnesses as well as well versed in language and martial arts. The plot was nicely link with many twists and turns that can intrigue viewers and not forgetting happy endings for all. Through the numerous flute and zither combinations of music, i was attracted to learn guzheng which till now i am still learning thanks to this drama. After watching this drama again recently, i still sensed the excitement of the plot again. This would always be a all time favourite drama of my life. Michelle is really great in 女扮男装 roles!

The start of watching hk dramas again...ha...i have always wonder why i am so interested in these dramas rather than our local production. Is it because of the intriguing plots and amazing actors and actresses making the whole story both believeble and pleasant to watch or really deep inside me i want to find out how others feel? As we all know, dramas are just stories narrated before our eyes to allow us to escape and fantasize about things we would never do or even thought of doing. We only have 1 life time's experience unfold before us once, unlike television programmes that can be replayed again and again.
