Four days in retail pharmacy in SGH and its boring…..still have another 12 ½ days more….and hoping all this will end quickly. Feel very tired after whole day of standing and being an extra, only useful at times. Got myself sick just after three days of work with fever and runny nose…..walking aimlessly in the store, wondering when the time passes quickly and not let me wait in vain. Always welcome 6pm, when finally I can go back to the comforts of my home and rest my tired feet and enjoy a comedy drama to perk me up. Then its back to serious work again with recording and tasks at hand……

We had a nice night out at Sentosa near the beaches call Camp Laguna after our 3h briefing about SIP. So thrilled I got to go SGH Pharmacy…..wahhahaha….its just opposite my house plus I get to have free lunches courtesy of mom which means…..free transport and free food!!! And money rolling in some more at S$420. Ok back to the trip, right after our briefing we travelled to Im Seah Food Centre to have our lunch. I had chicken rice set and after tasting the food. I found the sauce bit sweet but still tasty. I still prefer the chicken rice in Far East Plaza. How I love the special black sauce they serve. We board the bus to Sentosa and on our way to Camp Laguna using monorail. It was travelling at micro speed even the snail can beat it. Finally after all the bumps we reached the camp head office to find nobody around even though its past lunch hour. One of us had to call the staff to come. Such slow service. Then we chose a nice spot of concrete floor to pitch an 8-men tent next to a shelter. None of us had been a scout or girl guide so we took some time figuring out how to stabilize the tent with the support poles that are given to us. We work as a team to fix the tent plus laid the final ground sheet inside in less than 30 mins. We went to take a short stroll to the most southern part of the island which is a small island with 2 viewing platforms. We spend another hour or so waiting for Leslie to come and join us and we head for Underwater World. We didn’t go in as isn’t worth it when Dolphin Lagoon is closing since entrance fee comes with viewing the pink dolphins in Dolphin Lagoon too. Then we had a early dinner at Trapizza. Wheee….We ordered three pizzas, 1 seafood and salmon, 1 ham and mushrooms and 1 ham with bacon pizza. The pizzas were paper thin and crispy unlike the tough crust from Pizza Hut. The seafood pizza had a pungent salmon smell but still edible. I prefer the other pizzas which are quite tasty especially the pork. After a satisfiying meal, we went to watch the musical fountain display which is the same 1 as the last time I went. After that we went back to camp and rest plus shower. We played some cards for about an hour and grew bored. Listen to some stories and gossip and finally its 1am. Some went to sleep despite the mosquito infested and hot conditions in the tent. Luckily Linda brought a mini fan to help ease the unpleasant conditions. I laid a mat on the concrete floor outside the tent and lie down playing my gameboy advance sp and falling asleep for a while and feeding mosquitoes. I woke up at around 4am and join the others who haven slept at the beach. SJ and JH were eating bowl noodles and the other 2 guys dozing off. I also lay down on the beach chair and got comfortable and slept till around 7am. We checked out at 10+ am and have breakfast before heading home. Even though we didn’t do a lot of things, it was a different experience and we get to hear some gossip.

Yesterday, we went to Roland’s Restaurant located at Blk 89 Marine Parade Central, next to the NTUC. As we arrived at the restaurant, we were directed to our seats. We saw a standing card screaming about purchasing 2 thai coconuts and get 1 free. We were quite enthusiastic and ordered. It cost S$4.80++ each which meant 3 for S$10. To think we can buy Thailand or Malaysia coconuts for S$1-2, a comment from my bro. I was thinking we will ever go Malaysia and eat seafood meh. My dad didn’t like driving to Malaysia. Ok then, we ordered 4 dishes namely chilli crabs, fried rice with silverfish, frogs legs with dried chilli and belachan kangkong. The whole time my father was complaining about the food. Saying the fried rice should had come in first, the kangkong was lousy, frogs legs should only had the leg region, the crabs tasted funny at a point and only praising the fried rice. Luckily fried rice saved the dinner. I didn’t know my father was as naggy as my mom. But dad was kind enough to give me crab parts that have lots of flesh. However, I wasn’t statisfied with the crab, yes it was only 1 crab. So I hope to eat more crabs soon! P.S. I saw Li Nanxing walking around the restaurant, should be attending the wedding dinner.

After the last exam of my whole poly life, i went to dine at Jack's Place. The steak wasn't succulent enough but still a sumptuous meal. When i reach bugis, i was bored with shopping so went to the arcade expecting the same old games. Then I was attacted to a simple silly game called Stacking the Blocks. Its like a brick game where u start off with 3 blocks and must stack up accordingly. The speed of the blocks that move horizontally increases and the number of blocks reduce to 1, so higher chance of losing the game as its 1 try per $1. There are two safe levels where first safe level is where i get to win a minor prize which is lame, tidbits like twisters and prawn crackers or continue to win the major prize which is dvd player,mp3 player, handphones. So of course everyone wil continue right. At first i tried it once and when I got to the last stage of winning the major prize then miss by a bit then lost.=.='' Typical...like the machine purposely stop me from winning or else its my pounding heart and coordination. This game just bank in on player's scensory neurons that transmit impulses from the eye to the motor effector in my hand that cause the delay in reaction and lost the game. Plus the factor of getting hook to the game of how close of winning the prize. At first i know its con people's money but i just sank into its treacherous trap.......*fuming* I know its lame but i'm going to try it again some other day again.
