Met sj and jh to visit the bookfair in suntec. We had our lunch at O'Briens Irish Sandwich Bar in Citylink Mall. They had 6 panels of menus that stumped me for choice. Its so hard to choice among such a wide range of sandwiches, wraps, breakfast meals and drinks. After much choosing, i selected house speciality, chicken and bacon tripledecker. U can probably guess its 3 layers. I thought its nothing special with just 3 layers of white bread. I was enlightened when sj commented that a toasted triagular bread in the middle is crispy. It tasted wonderful for a noodle lover like me. Chicken filling with lettuce in 1 layer and bacon and salad on the other. Heavenly. jh had ham and cheese while sj had vege and mushroom swiss if i'n not wrong. Ham and cheese was not bad but mushroom and swiss tasted too sour. I had tutti frutti smoothie to down my sandwiches. Even though this lunch is sumptuous, its costly. We headed towards the bookfair after our meal. I was confident i wouldn't spend much but i end up being the big spender..zz..Bought dvd featuring guzhen, tianjie comic and language cd roms that cost a bomb. And turn 3 capsules to get 3 mini burger figurines in mini paper bags. I just can't resist them. Finally, we were out of the bookfair terminating any further lurking temptations inside!

Yippy yeah!! I went to Creative Warehouse Sale in Jurong!!! I have been looking for a voice recorder since i started gu zhen lessons. I chance upon Creative Sale when zy wrote in his blog about getting webcam. From the creative webby, there is such a device that have 3 functions! A mp3 player, voice recorder as well as a usb storage...woo..power packed features! There was ladies special for MuVo Slim and Nomad MuVo TX 128mb and 256 mb versions that come with freebies. However, when i reached there the 128mb versions have sold out! So sad...the 256mb versions are just too ex...then i settle for Nomad MuVo NX 128mb for 189! I was grinning when i bought it! haha...love this buy. There were many things like speakers,LCD monitors,cameras,mp3 players etc that slightly cheaper. Creative really know how to entice customers through different advertisements and specials, with lots of promotions like a auction, sms star buys and ladies special...Anyway i became one of their prey.

Finally finished Triumph In the Skies!! Wooo....this drama is really nice. They visited places like Italy especially Rome where relationships revolve ard this area plus Japan and Australia! I will make sure one day i will visit Italy and absorbed such beautiful sights not missing the cathedrals and ancient castles! Anyway, i felt this story is well crafted as the characters some how link to each other and from there many stories are created. From this drama, we get a insight of how people work in the airport plus some scenes of traning of air stewardess and pilots. Most important is the different relationships in the show between different people. At times, I feel like rejoicing over a successful relationship and the next feeling sad over it. This show showcases the lows and highs of being in a relationship. Even though i've not been in one but i think it requires alot of energy and its tiring. I can't imagine... It touches on issues of marrying ur best friend's ex, mourning for her husband who met with an accident, relationship further stablized when the girl needed a heart transplant, when a relationship failed, everyone still remain as good friends. I particularly like some of the messages the characters try to bring out to the viewers. Sometimes fate can be good or bad, its the way how u view it. Enjoy the process of being in a relationship and dun think too much of the ending. Be satisfied and treasure what u have now as probably one day u might live to regret it! I have learnt alot from this show and probably encourage people to watch such an excellant tvb drama! Cheers! Sianz...hopefully someone will be able to share the joy of watching dramas too!

Right from last week i decided to go to the Everton rental shop!! After 4 months with no hk dramas to watch, its the start of this process again!! Wahahahha....i love holidays but this is the time when i'll get bankupt faster!! Haiz....but the thought of going back into that shop really thrills me. I refrained from going into the shop for the past week as i stilll have korean dramas to finish. All thanx to Linda for her Winter Sonata vcds plus Truth vcds!! When i stepped into the shop, the place look slightly different as the cupboards that i used to see have been removed and the place have undergone some changes in the arrangement. However, these never change the attitude of the friendly auntie who attended to me! She remembers me and whenever i came, she would recommend some dramas. i love period dramas as their costumes are really beautiful and they look like something far from this era that makes me attracted to them. She would explain to me the storyline and her recommendations are never wrong! Now i rent a hk drama called Triumph into the Skies. My fav actress is inside!! Ha....must support mah..Going watch tomoro.....wahahahha
Tuesday, was abit excited that sj and jh will come and spend a night in my house playing games and watching drama or anime. But a call i recieved at 3pm dashed my hopes....haiz....always can't overcome the parents' factor.
At least today didn't go in vain as i completed Beyond Good And Evil!! Muahhahaha!! The second PS2 game i have completed since i owned PS2 set. Its quite an accomplishment as i spent quite a substantial amount of hours tackling the puzzles and fighting. The storyline is well crafted and some cut scenes were so touching that i can't help feeling a tug at my heart. The puzzles are well woven into the game as well as imaginative weapons and equipment to aid Jade(lead character) in her conquest against the evil. Overall this game is out of this world and differ from the mainstream games. I hope there are more of this kind of games that combine the use of brains for puzzles as well as duels against enemies. It will become pqrt of my favourite collection from now. Now i must attempt to finish off FFX and Kingdom Hearts that drag for so long.....but l'm stuck in FFX plus i'm trying get stuff for Sora in KH. Agrh...so tough to get those items sometimes and get fustrated. Well, can't help having a hate and love relationship with games.

Today, i went on a hiking trip in mac ritchie with some classmates and dr ong. I thought there were about 8 people going but end up with only 5 of us and dr ong. The others have something on in the mosque and xu yuan was still sleeping when jh called. We took 980 and met qin yuan at the mac ritchie bus stop. Suddenly came out silently....lolz We slowly strolled towards the hiking trail. There were a few trails that we can take from 4.9km to 11km trails. We started our trail without much planning and walked into the forested area. Since it was morning, there were occasional joggers passing us and casual walkers having a chat along the walk. With just greenery and a trail with rocks and mud to greet us, there's nothing much to see but to breathe in a whiff of dense filled air of leaves. The most was a bird cry from not afar...We pass our boredom by chatting along the way. Since qin yuan was the only guy, dr ong kept himself busy exchanging words with him. During the trail, much gossip and daily affairs were exchanged between them. While i can't help stifling a laugh when i sometimes over heard some of their conversations. I enjoyed the conversations shared between the different people along the way while i speak little. Its interesting how people think and view different things in different perspectives. We came to a few intersections and we always chose a longer route. After more than one 1 hour, i happen to see some flowers, fungi and a beautiful fruit that open up into a shape of a flower. I attempted to photograph a butterfly but i wan't fast enough to catch the action. Yogesh and myself lagged behind slightly and i could see the sky's darkening. We reached an observing tower and without much consideration, Yogesh and myelf climb our way to the top. By the time we reach to the second highest viewing platform, before long, trickles of raindrops are seen falling followed by larger raindrops splattering onto the forest right beneath. Qin yuan followed us up and help to take a pic on our camera phone to remember this day. The spiralling staircase was rather daunting as u climb up or down as u can miss a step and end up rolling all the way down. We had a rest and took sips of water while we waited for the rain to become lighter. We continued after about 30 mins. The weather hadn't been kind to us along the way, after a board walk the weather change for the worst when it rained cats and dogs. Yogesh and myself practically ran towards a nearest shelter as i didn't want my camera to become wet. We had another long rest and much conversation took place. It so happen at 1 point, 1 lady who shared the shelter wanted to light up for a puff, dr ong made a loud comment at how inconsiderate people can be and we end up leaving the comfort of the shelter and brave the nonchalant rain. All the way, my face and hair were drenched in rain as well as i felt my t shirt and shorts clung onto my body while my socks make sqiushing noises for every step i took. Like the chinese saying says "a drenched chicken". We make a final stop at a stop in a golf course drinking more water before setting off for the bus stop. We took a bus to Toa Payoh and had a lunch treated by dr ong in long john silver's. Grilled fish set meal was on the cards. We had a 3h long chat after the meal.
It was quite an experience as i seldom have long walks. I can see interesting flowers and fruits along the way and proud of our accomplishment in completing about 8 to 9km of the trail. Sometimes in occasions like this can u uncover the real person whithin, a face u nv imagine to discover.
