Today, met up with sj and jh for teppanyaki and ice cream in cineleisure lvl 2, a restaurant call yuki no yaki. Then i called up sj but no answer when i reached there....then turned around saw 4 familiar people. They look surprised to see me...ha....they were buying a present for me but i spoil their fun of a surprise. Sorry folks...too bad ur too slow...haha...They bought me Stikfas!! I like the dragon and the lady figurine! I had eyed it for some time but didn't buy it. sj is so observant!! Thanx alot!! i just made a comment and she knew what i like!! Ahh..thats chemistry! And i bought FF Trading Arts figurine and got a mystery char!!! Going to try and get complete set...woops...bad habit....oh no!!
Jasmine,Audrey, sj, jh and myself have a fun time eating teppanyaki and ice cream buffet! Ordered quite a substantial amount of seafood and helped ourselves to yong tao hu and vege from the conveyor belt. We had salmon,sambal prawns,sambal dory(fav),chicken,stingray etc..plus caixin,tao kay and eggs. The egg at the beginning is a no-no in the pan! It turn our pan into layer of black carbon!! haiz...left with a black pan throughout the meal...we quench our thirst with 8 cans of drinks....after 1 1/2h of teppanyaki, we ate DIY ice cream!! Weeeeeee.....The poor waitress had to clean up our black mess on the pan, scrubbing and scrapping the pan with water. Can see we are amateurs in the kitchen, as sj say we can train in here before messing in the real kitchen or else kenna mom's scolding! hahaha....we each selected a flavour. We had tarimishu, strawberry,honey dew,rum and raisin plus mango serbet for ice cream as well as complimentary biscuits,butter waffles and chocolate and strawberry love letters! The meal was not bad overall costing each of us 20...Thanx all of u for everything!
After our meal, aud went home while the rest of us went off to watch "The Prince and me". Even though the ending is sweet as honey, its not possible in real reality. Reality bites and hurts. Zzzz...this is life. We can only fantasize in movies and dreams but its hard in real life.
sj, jh and myself left for a pub in millenia walk which brew its own beer. sj read from a magazine and told us to try this place. We sat down in a corner and the helpful waitress came and recommend some house brews and snacks. We ordered 0.5L munich lager, 0.5L munich dark and another that is 0.3L germany brewed beer call Hefe-Weißbier with potato wedges and calamari. Lager and dark are house brewed and dark is a sweeter concoction. Its not as bitter as the other two even though the flavour to me its the same. Woo...the wedges sauce is marvellous! Wonder what it is....its not ketchup or chilli but just great! :) The beers came in tall mugs and i notice a logo on it. The pub is call Paulaner Bräuhaus. The ambience was quite soothing and comfortable as a guitar soloist was singing to the rhythm of his guitar. He's quite a talented person and an entertainer who called us charlie angels..=.='' The place wasn't that dark and i can see pressurised fermentation tanks about 2 to 3m high while the waitresses extract freshly brewed beer from ground level. I happily took some pictures to commemorate my visit there. I noticed some working professionals in suits and casual drinkers looking our way at times. Probably we look a little young to be around in these premises. The drinks cost us 20 each with 20% discount. Dad call at 9 plus, faster dash out before he know where i probably was. I walked towards city hall to take a bus and met sj's mom who along the way bought supper in a jap restaurant.
Overall i enjoyed today!!! Yeah!

When the time is 12 noon 24/04/04....wow...all the 4s...anyway i practically was grinning away....such a relief from 4 months stress. Can continue with my hk dramas, PS2 games, late nights watching and playing. Hey the night is still young....ha...
After all the waiting for the other people around 12.30, we board the train towards Far East. There were lots of gossip shared while i listen and absorbed the info....haha....ur must be thinking i'm quite boring. Nothing juicy to share but thats me. Chicken rice stall mixed up was abit paiseh...haha....only sj and myself ate at our favorite stall while the others went to the one around the corner. The reason being that I like the sauce that is generously given together with the chicken. Anyway, no harm trying the next time. After our lunch, we went down to B1 to browse around. Usually i prefer to walk faster and i make my way to the collectible shop and have fun turning capsules while the others went off to other shops. I left shortly after for my gu zhen lesson. The thought of the lesson really perk me up. I'm going to collect my very own miniature gu zhen with 16 strings which is short of 5 strings. Even though there are short comings of the sound quality and missing chords, i am happy. I bought something for jh, i'm sure she'll love it on her bd. One hand on a plastic bag, gu zhen bag slung over my shoulder together with my sling bag taking mrt to orchard to meet sj create a downpour on my face. She helped me collect the pink qoo luggage bag that caught my eye after my first qoo exchange weeks ago. Haa....the luggage bag prove to be useful as hy,hl and sj help me stuff all my things into the luggage bag. I think i raised many people's eye brows....As we are exiting, Qoo mascot came walking over!! Yeah!I quickly whip out my leica....ha...he look cute in the photo...Then i rush home in a taxi to meet up with my mom and aunts for dinner at a restaurant which is just a short walk from my house. They serve dinner sets for 4 at 20. So cheap and good!! When sj and jh come for a sleep over, i'm going to bring them there!

Yesterday, after Bpharm exam...went to have nice lunch at Swensen's with pei e and aud....we ordered 2 plates of crayfish spagetti,chicken bake rice, pop corn and prawn fritteres and complimentary of 2 bowls of soup,2 desserts and 2 soft drinks. The spagetti tasted not bad, soup was minestrone and cookie and cream ice cream. It was one of the better lunches since exam started....when i am at home most of the time, im lazy to buy lunch and end up eating cup noodles and campbell soup. Haiz...results of not able to cook. When the two of them went to the restroom, i heard a group of office working people singing birthday song for another colleague, and found out i was a lady. Ha.... before long its my turn. They came back, and the three of us had a hysertical laugh over something even now i can't seem to remember after our lunch....haha...anyway we are just three siao people in the restaurant.

Weeeeee.......exams coming means holidays nearing too!!! Wooowoowowowowowoow....haha....exams come....means can get my minature gu zhen!!! Then i can practise my fingering at home plus can listen to it along the way! Yeah! Waited for this day for quite long....even though its not the actual gu zhen but still can play and make music...hee...then i'll have a surprise for jh..... :) then following sunday i might jet off to hk to "mai dong xi, chi dong xi, mai dong xi, chi dong xi"! Double yeah!! Can't wait!! Holidays means back to gaming and watching dramas again!! Woopy....that rental dvd shop lady will be so happy to see me! Holidays here i come!!!
Zzz....after all that excitement...its back to business....

Today is the start of the Qoo event in Orchard Cineleisure!! Met up with zy,jas and gw followed by hy ard 8.30am. We had breakfast in bk and were not worried about the short queue forming at the exchanging counter. 8.30am and ard 8 people had queued up waiting for the counter to open. By the time its 9.30am, it has balloon to 20 people, we quickly queued up. Didn't know so many people like Qoo so much. Ahem...we are ardent fans of this tiny phenomenon...hahahaha.... But honestly the merchandise are quite cute. Maybe thats the pull factor. People taking plm will throw their shoes at me...haha...I end up buying 6 bottles of Qoo just for the labels and futher 20 dollars for the merchandise. The first few girls at the front queue carted alot of pink and blue luggage bags and alot of other stuff. The qoo representatives gave out sitckers much to gw's delight. Qoo fanatic...While waiting for our turn, gw and zy crack many jokes. Then dunno what happen 1 qoo label drop on zy's shoe and he showed it to gw, and laughed at a "free" qoo label.....then the man behind has a rather stern face.....ahah....its his gf's qoo label...was thinking to myself..only 1 qoo label only mah...so black face. We dissolve into silent giggles....lolz....Then to our left were some art pieces featuring Qoo which are up for bidding. Took some pictures!! After 1 hour of waiting, we wrote on a piece of paper on what merchandise we wanted and presented to the representative. They packed quite quickly and when it reaches our turn we can collect while they counted and charged for our collection. gw managed to get a free clock, all thanks to his acting skills. Hahaha...we took our our stuff and arrange them infront of cineleisure and took some pics.....so fun.....if i'm not wrong, zy and jas bought 2 velvet cushions ,1 2ft plush toy and bikini for rebecca. Then its our turn to change, all together 6 umbrellas, 2 for sj,2 for hy and 1 each of gw and myself...look pretty kiasu...haha...then 2 soft clocks, 1 small plush toy, 1 men's tank, 2 beach towels, 1 blue dual utility and travel bag and 1 bedsheet set......can imagine how much we spent drinking and paying...coca cola earn big money on our weaknesses against a cute icon. *Tsk tsk* Oh no....i want that pink lugguage!!!
